Michael Ratliff

Director of Asset Management & Acting Director of Risk Management & Control

Michael Ratliff is the Director of Asset Management, overseeing the implementation of projects financed with a loan, as well as contractual compliance and collateral agent and asset management activities. Prior to joining NADB,ank he was with the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) for eight years, where he served as Managing Director of the Global Energy Group, among other roles. His previous work experience also includes serving as a financial advisor to the Loan Guarantee Program of the U.S. Department of Energy, where he provided advisory services in the structuring and financing of innovative energy projects, and he worked for eight years as the head of infrastructure for the Private Sector Department of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), executing transactions in infrastructure and energy throughout Latin America. He was also manager of project finance for Capital Corporation, CH2M Hill, then a leading global engineering company.

Mr. Ratliff earned his MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and holds a BA, graduating with distinction, from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. Mr. Ratliff is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
