The Community Assistance Program (CAP) was established by the North American Development Bank (NADBank) to support critical environmental infrastructure projects for economically distressed communities in the U.S.-Mexico border region. Grants for up to US$750,000 are available for water and solid waste projects which result in a direct environmental or health benefit to a border community. Eligible applications will be evaluated in accordance with the prioritization methodology, available on NADBank’s website, resulting in a ranked list of applications to be considered for project selection. Application review and evaluation activities will occur periodically based on funding availability. The selection of the first group of projects is anticipated for early 2024.
