The Community Assistance Program (CAP) was established by the North American Development Bank (NADBank) to support critical environmental infrastructure projects for economically distressed communities in the U.S.-Mexico border region. Grants for up to US$250,000 are available for repairs to critical water and solid waste infrastructure to address an operational failure caused by an act of nature or unforeseen external influence and has caused or, if not repaired promptly, will cause an acute environmental or human health effect. NADBank will expeditiously review each emergency need application. Applicants should be prepared to present financial statements and current operating budget, upon request.
