Denver, Colorado. – Alex Hinojosa, Deputy Managing Director of the North American Development Bank (NADB), is participating today at the 8th North American Infrastructure Leadership Forum, organized by CG/LA Infrastructure in Denver, Colorado.
Mr. Hinojosa will be sharing the NADB’s experience in the development of environmental infrastructure projects during the 4:00 pm panel “Moving Forward: How the National Infrastructure Bank Would Work.”
NADB and its sister institution, the Border Environment Cooperation Commission (BEEC), have gone through a series of reforms and policy changes to adapt to the needs of the border region and maximize the capacity of the institutions to provide financing to many communities and private borrowers.
“Although NADB geographic jurisdiction is limited to an area within the 10 states that comprise the U.S.-Mexico border region, its 22 years of operation provide good lessons for infrastructure development and financing that could be considered on a larger scale for a national infrastructure bank,” commented Mr. Hinojosa.
The 8th edition of the Forum, taking place in Denver, Colorado, from October 24 -27 focuses on infrastructure development in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, while facilitating business and promoting projects across the region.
